About the Author

A.S. (Andrew Scott) Dietz is the author of The Last Folk Hero as well as Follow the Meander—two books about creativity, outsider art, and the unexpected paths curiosity can take us.

Ever U is his first novel, inspired in part by the beauty and mystery of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the experimental artistic spirit of Black Mountain College. Professor Phineas Keetz was loosely inspired by Andrew’s friend and occasional creative collaborator, the artist-philosopher Jonathan Keats. (Calder the Dog also demanded to appear in the book and negotiated payment in bacon.)

Andrew lives in Atlanta with his wife, Janice, and Calder the Dog. More at www.AndrewDietz.net.
